2010 State Fair of Texas Coverage Direct From Dallas

We're in Dallas for the 2010 State Fair of Texas auto show Thursday. Texas is the largest truck market in the country, and the fair is arguably the most important new truck show of the year. Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, GMC and Toyota will be there to show off their latest pickups in the Truck Zone — a 135,000-square-foot outdoor display.

We'll be there live for the start of the show and to bring you any pickup news that develops.

You'll also have the chance to vote in our Consumers' Choice Award online poll. Voters will select their favorite heavy-duty pickup truck, from the Chevrolet Silverado HD, Ford F-Series Super Duty, GMC Sierra HD and Ram Heavy Duty. The online poll will run the length of the fair, ending Oct. 17, with a winner announced Oct. 18 on the site.

See y'all online starting at 10 a.m. Thursday.

I WANNA GO I WANNA GO Mike ya need an assistant?

Mike,
I'm very interested to hear what Toyota's plans are for the Tacoma. I'm very surprised they haven't updated the 4.0 V6 to be at least dual VVT-I like the FJ Crusier, 4Runner, Tundra. Toyota also hasn’t updated the 4 cylinder & it’s transmission in a very long time.
Will we see any mechanical or cosmetic upgrades in the 2012 Tacoma?
If you can get any info out of Toyota I would be extremely interested.
Thank you!
