SEMA Preview: 2009 Ford F-150 by K-Daddyz Kustomz

Kyle Gann, owner of K-Daddyz Kustomz, and his crew from Bakersfield, Calif. are building a 2009 Ford F-150 for SEMA that street performance enthusiasts will envy, with huge 24-inch wheels, a 3-inch drop and a custom computer-controlled two-link airbag suspension, to manage the lowered pickup's rolling dynamics and ride height.

On the outside, K-Daddyz' F-150 will feature a custom two-tone 'Blackend' and 'Kandy Red' paint job separated by a 'Silva' color break that's highlighted by airbrushing and pinstripes. Though the truck will look awesome cruising the Vegas strip at night, a Webasto Grandview panoramic sunroof will let the rays in during daylight hours. The exterior will also feature a custom mesh grille, smoked lenses, billet handles, custom fender vents, a Snugtop bed cover, shaved emblems, carbon fiber pillar posts and a fabricated three-piece roll pan.

Inside, the F-150 will roll with Katzkin leather seats and custom-finished surfaces, including a suede headliner and painted interior accents. The headrests will feature LCD monitors with built in DVD players and the dash will be covered with carbon fiber highlights. Tunes will sonically rock the truck and the world via a 5,000-watt JBL Audio sound system and custom fiberglass speaker pods from Hardcore Audio that will house four 12-inch woofers, two 5-1/4-inch component sets, two 6-1/2-inch component sets. A fiberglass two-tone bed cover will protect the bed-housed woofers and a 24-inch spare wheel and tire.

Under the hood, K-Daddyz is giving the F-150's 5.4-liter V-8 extra power, courtesy of a Procharger intercooled supercharger, and a stronger exhaust note, from a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust.

We'll bring you more in-person about this truck and many others when we hit the floor of the SEMA show next week!
