Why is the ford set up in pictures different. The Dodge picture looks wimpy and that is one off the best looking out there. Just some nit picking :)

The poll seems to be slanted towards the F150. The other three trucks are all neutral colors whereas the Ford is red which is used in commercials and other ad venues to make the customer want a product. Also, the Chevy, Dodge, and Nissan pictures are taken at an angle that makes them look lower to the ground than the Ford in which the subconscious sees as being small or not up to par. Lastly, the Ford picture is setup differently than the others.

And the 150 looks better cause it looks better, I don't care the camera angle, other manufactures chose their colors, that's something you should be fracturing in... The Nissan is terribly far behind compared to the rest anyway, its not red...

I'm glad to see that the Nissan Hunk of Junk is losing. These wannabe assemblages of foreign parts need to go away. Texans and "real" Americans know how to pick their trucks. Brand Loyalty can be pretty strong in the world of marketing and certain products. One is the automobile. I would encourage anyone entertaining a truck to be open minded and allow themselves time to test drive all the brands pictured above and pay close attention to a spec that's hard to quantify but your ears and hands will let you know and that's interior NVH (in the industry it stands for Noise, Vibration & Harshness). In other words the acoustic and tactile feel generated by a vehicle (truck or Car) and perceived by you, the customer, as an indicator of quality. I know of no one that said, "Oh I'll take the noisy truck that squeaks and rattles". However, sad to say I know many people (too brand loyal) that have. What's my point? Please test drive a Ford. You positively will be pleasantly surprised. In fact , if it wasn't for the sheet metal box in the back you would'nt know you were driving a Ford!!!

I think the Ford's leading because it looks less "old and tired" than the others. Also, Ford's probably got the best reputation for durability and toughness.

talk about toughness I own 2 GM trucks the first a 1994 has over 310000 miles my sons drive it, and the second is an 03 Silverado Duramax with over 220000 miles. Now that's tough. I can't ask for more tough than that can you? Can the competitors say the same?

I worked in the service department at a Ford/Chrysler split dealer for 15 years, Fords were the biggest contributor to my pay check. Read into that what you want.

Considering Ford has always way out sold Chrysler trucks in makes sense that they would contribute more the service department. Fords need oil changes and new brakes too. Way to complain about about the company paying your checks.

Look at all those adds for the hunk a junk tundra. Larger disc brakes. Who had them first Ford. Frame rails? Ford. Oh yeah look at the Badges on the fenders. At a distance you would think it was a FORD. Toyota can do what they want but they will and can never be as good as a FORD

All you need to do is watch the FORD comparison tests against the rest and you will see who the winner is.

All those TV adds where the tundra pulls the shipping container off the edge of the cliff was all a matter of balance. The one where they stop it at the edge of a platform before going over the edge. If you look real close when the show the wheels you see wheel hop. What they don't show is the cable under it that really brought it to a stop.

Have been driving an F-150 for years and bought a new 2009 recently and have been very pleased with every aspect of this great truck. GO FORD!!!!

This is such an unfair poll. You're asking people to vote on a truck based on which picture they think looks prettier on the outside. Why not make it fair and show interior shots, and talk about the truck's capabilities. Better yet, what made these trucks the Texas edition? They're unique just because they have an extra badge that mentions Texas??? Pretty lame!

The difference between the '08 & '09 models was astonishing! The cockpit console was significantly upgraded and the new 6 speed transmission really helped improve performance and fuel economy.

All the other trucks are toys compared to the Ford! Can't wait to get my '10.

Everyone should take and actually drive the Dodge Ram- newly done in 2009 from the ground up. I have had several Ford and Chevy friends convert to Dodge this year and say it was the best move they ever made. The biggest thing we have over the competition is the LIFETIME POWERTRAIN WARRANTY. You think that the Ford drives like a Jaguar, fat chance when you have rear leaf suspension. The 2009 AUTO SHOW blew it when it named Ford Truck of the Year. The Dodge was the best truck all around this year, not only did it come out with a all new suped up improvement on the Hemi Engine taking it from 345 HP and 375 Torque, to 390 HP and 407 Torque, it redesigned the whole truck - more arrow dynamic front look, added ESP and side curtain airbags in EVERY MODEL, STANDARD, it also redesigned the suspension with a coil spring for a more comfortable ride. On top of all that, the Dodge won INTERIOR DESIGN OF THE YEAR.

Dodge Ram - Front nose where Hood, Grille and Fascia come together Confused Look; a combination of old and new styling.

Ford F150 - Contemporary Look; well integerated styling of the Hood, Grille, Fender and Headlights with a good blend with the Front Fascia.

Ford trucks are just a better built truck than the rest. Dont take my word for it. check out youtube clip 2009 truck durability test. It will show you the true difference. Best in class for payload, torque , power, ect.

the pictures are quite deceiving... the Silverado is a white truck that has alot of white reflections casting onto it... this gives the illusion of strange body lines... the Dodge and Nisan are darker colors and their pictures are taken from farther away... the Ford picture is a computer enhanced advertisement picture that is clearly used to make the truck look better than it does in person... perhaps they couldn't find a "good side" of the Ford to take a picture of?

Down here in the South, it's mostly a Ford/Chevy world with a few of the others thrown in for leavening. Ford looks the best to me, and from experience, at least in my opinion, is a bit more "solid" in feel and handling. Anyhow, that's my vote.

Ford trucks are more than beautiful and reliable trucks, they are safety standard, I have heard about people that are very grateful with God to put them into a F150 when they had accidents and thanks God , .. they are alive!!!
