Why is the ford set up in pictures different. The Dodge picture looks wimpy and that is one off the best looking out there. Just some nit picking :)

How about some stats and some interior pictures so we can make a better informed decision?

So is are the Texas editions just chrome accents and bigger wheels?

The poll seems to be slanted towards the F150. The other three trucks are all neutral colors whereas the Ford is red which is used in commercials and other ad venues to make the customer want a product. Also, the Chevy, Dodge, and Nissan pictures are taken at an angle that makes them look lower to the ground than the Ford in which the subconscious sees as being small or not up to par. Lastly, the Ford picture is setup differently than the others.

Because the ford is better, its ford, lol

That's how ford always does their pictures, look around, front corner at the ground with the wheels turned. And the 150 looks better cause it looks better, I don't care the camera angle, other manufactures chose their colors, that's something you should be fracturing in... The Nissan is terribly far behind compared to the rest anyway, its not red...

cant believe the titan is second. the only truck that looks like it is the real texas edition is the chevy. you can actually see the logo on the truck. you cant with the others. they all look like stock trucks. and in the case of the ford, it looks like a run of the mill stock photo too. dodge rules!

Can't believe anyone would even vote for that faggy looking titan!! LMAO Looks like nissan cornered the market on taking the 'manliness' out of trucks!! At least there isn't a toy turdra on the list. Bwaaaahahahaha

FORD TRUCK IS THE BEST --- Drive it as Drive a Jaguar.

The Ford in the picture is “red”, but the “Texas Edition” picture is from a beige truck. Did Ford really have a “Texas Edition” truck at the Fair?

Did you lose your job because of the GM and Chrysler backruptcy? Do you remember December 7th, 1941? Ford is the only clear choice.

the nissan looks like a knock-off hotwheels toy, the dodge looks like it was designed by a pig(front end=snout), the chevy looks stout, but clumsy, and the ford looks like someone thought about what a truck should look like!

Tequila is Mexican, Champagne is French, trucks are AMERICAN. nissan and toyota turds are wannabe's and need to go away. Real men drive AMERICAN trucks. Made in America, not just assembled here from foreign parts.

Who is voting for the Titan??? Any one of the other three are better than the Nissan. Would the people of Texas actually purchase a Japanese truck?

I'm glad to see that the Nissan Hunk of Junk is losing. These wannabe assemblages of foreign parts need to go away. Texans and "real" Americans know how to pick their trucks. They realize that we know how to make trucks and the others are still catching up. Just look at their commercials they have to perform extraordinary stunts, spin around in circles, drop them from 100 feet in the air and the like just to make you like them. Sorry, not working. Go Chevy,
Ford and Dodge. May the best of the three real trucks win.

Brand Loyalty can be pretty strong in the world of marketing and certain products. One is the automobile. I would encourage anyone entertaining a truck to be open minded and allow themselves time to test drive all the brands pictured above and pay close attention to a spec that's hard to quantify but your ears and hands will let you know and that's interior NVH (in the industry it stands for Noise, Vibration & Harshness). In other words the acoustic and tactile feel generated by a vehicle (truck or Car) and perceived by you, the customer, as an indicator of quality. I know of no one that said, "Oh I'll take the noisy truck that squeaks and rattles". However, sad to say I know many people (too brand loyal) that have. What's my point? Please test drive a Ford. You positively will be pleasantly surprised. In fact , if it wasn't for the sheet metal box in the back you would'nt know you were driving a Ford!!!

The Dodge Ram is awesome....best family of trucks on the market!

I think the Ford's leading because it looks less "old and tired" than the others. Also, Ford's probably got the best reputation for durability and toughness.

talk about toughness I own 2 GM trucks the first a 1994 has over 310000 miles my sons drive it, and the second is an 03 Silverado Duramax with over 220000 miles. Now that's tough. I can't ask for more tough than that can you? Can the competitors say the same?

I worked in the service department at a Ford/Chrysler split dealer for 15 years, Fords were the biggest contributor to my pay check. Read into that what you want.

To Mike:
Considering Ford has always way out sold Chrysler trucks in makes sense that they would contribute more the service department. Fords need oil changes and new brakes too. Way to complain about about the company paying your checks.

Those Ford truckers in Texas get all the good stuff!

Those Ford truckers in Texas get all the good stuff!

I like the Ford best of them all.

Real Americans drive American trucks. The Ford F-150 is assembled in Dearborn, Michigan.

Ford sells more F-150's in Texas than any other state. That is why Toyota built their truck plant there. They can try to gain the market there, but they just can't make as good a product as Ford!

All I can say is that FORD makes the best truck on the road. Pound for pound. More payload and towing power the the rest of them. All the others see what Ford does and then tries to copy it.
Look at all those adds for the hunk a junk tundra. Larger disc brakes. Who had them first Ford. Frame rails? Ford. Oh yeah look at the Badges on the fenders. At a distance you would think it was a FORD. Toyota can do what they want but they will and can never be as good as a FORD

All you need to do is watch the FORD comparison tests against the rest and you will see who the winner is.

All those TV adds where the tundra pulls the shipping container off the edge of the cliff was all a matter of balance. The one where they stop it at the edge of a platform before going over the edge. If you look real close when the show the wheels you see wheel hop. What they don't show is the cable under it that really brought it to a stop.

Oh yeah one more FYI if you look closely in many of the commercials you will see a whole bunch of FORD pickups in the background

Have been driving an F-150 for years and bought a new 2009 recently and have been very pleased with every aspect of this great truck. GO FORD!!!!

This is such an unfair poll. You're asking people to vote on a truck based on which picture they think looks prettier on the outside. Why not make it fair and show interior shots, and talk about the truck's capabilities. Better yet, what made these trucks the Texas edition? They're unique just because they have an extra badge that mentions Texas??? Pretty lame!

The difference between the '08 & '09 models was astonishing! The cockpit console was significantly upgraded and the new 6 speed transmission really helped improve performance and fuel economy.

All the other trucks are toys compared to the Ford! Can't wait to get my '10.

On the Silverado what is a TE * AS... the star looks nothing like a X that is stupid and does not look good.

You are voting on the badge....

Everyone should take and actually drive the Dodge Ram- newly done in 2009 from the ground up. I have had several Ford and Chevy friends convert to Dodge this year and say it was the best move they ever made. The biggest thing we have over the competition is the LIFETIME POWERTRAIN WARRANTY. You think that the Ford drives like a Jaguar, fat chance when you have rear leaf suspension. The 2009 AUTO SHOW blew it when it named Ford Truck of the Year. The Dodge was the best truck all around this year, not only did it come out with a all new suped up improvement on the Hemi Engine taking it from 345 HP and 375 Torque, to 390 HP and 407 Torque, it redesigned the whole truck - more arrow dynamic front look, added ESP and side curtain airbags in EVERY MODEL, STANDARD, it also redesigned the suspension with a coil spring for a more comfortable ride. On top of all that, the Dodge won INTERIOR DESIGN OF THE YEAR.

Drive the Dodge and be won over.

Just looking at the styling of the front end of the vehicle:

Chevy Silverado - "Plain Jane", looks like they just threw things at the front of the vehicle saw what would stick on.

Dodge Ram - Front nose where Hood, Grille and Fascia come together Confused Look; a combination of old and new styling.

Ford F150 - Contemporary Look; well integerated styling of the Hood, Grille, Fender and Headlights with a good blend with the Front Fascia.

Nissan Titan - Dated Look; not sure. Maybe it's the angle of the shot, but it's nothing I would want to own let alone drive.

Ford trucks are just a better built truck than the rest. Dont take my word for it. check out youtube clip 2009 truck durability test. It will show you the true difference. Best in class for payload, torque , power, ect.

the pictures are quite deceiving... the Silverado is a white truck that has alot of white reflections casting onto it... this gives the illusion of strange body lines... the Dodge and Nisan are darker colors and their pictures are taken from farther away... the Ford picture is a computer enhanced advertisement picture that is clearly used to make the truck look better than it does in person... perhaps they couldn't find a "good side" of the Ford to take a picture of?
this poll is definitely slanted towards the Ford... and the results are showing... its basically asking you to choose a beauty pageant winner by looking at pictures of 3 girls without makeup and one girl with makeup and airbrushing... you tell me who is going to win that contest.

Ford is the best TRUCK Period! All others are pretenders. Designs may change for better or worse based on folk's taste and opinion BUT when the vehicle you want is a TRUCK, Ford DEFINES THE WORD TRUCK!! Always has, always will! The rest is Madison avenue marketing!

I love my F150. Best truck on the market.

This is the best looking and driving truck on the road.
Best built truck with quality surpassed by none.

Best built truck on the road.
It's quality can not be surpassed by anyother manufacturer.

Down here in the South, it's mostly a Ford/Chevy world with a few of the others thrown in for leavening. Ford looks the best to me, and from experience, at least in my opinion, is a bit more "solid" in feel and handling. Anyhow, that's my vote.

Ford trucks are more than beautiful and reliable trucks, they are safety standard, I have heard about people that are very grateful with God to put them into a F150 when they had accidents and thanks God , .. they are alive!!!

I love F150!!! drive one and compare, don't talk if you haven't had the chance of driving it

Ford F-Series has not been the best selling truck for over 30 years because their advertisements look nice. Their just better trucks. Thats why they are winning the poll. It is true not everyone will agree. Thats why everyone has a choice to drive what they want. But, more people have chosen and still choose to spend their hard earned dollars on Ford than any other truck. Fact.
