2009 State Fair of Texas Coverage Direct From Dallas

We're headed to Dallas for the 2009 State Fair of Texas auto show Thursday. Texas is the largest truck market in the country ,and the fair is arguably the most important new truck show of the year. Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, GMC and Toyota will be there to show off their latest pickups in the Truck Zone -- a 135,000 square-foot outdoor display.

We'll be there live at 10 a.m. Central Time for the reveal of the new 2011 Ford F-Series Super Duty and to bring you any pickup news that develops.

You'll also have the chance to vote in our Consumers' Choice Award online poll. Voters will select their favorite Texas edition pickup truck from the fair, from the Dodge Ram 1500 Texas Lone Star Edition, the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Texas Edition, the Nissan Titan Texas Titan and the Ford F-150 Texas Edition. The online poll will run the length of the fair, ending Oct. 18, with a winner announced Oct. 19 on the site.

thanks for all the great info. Can you keep us up to date on the 4runner as well? Oh yeah, is dodge supposed to give pricing on the HD.

I am figuring out how Ford didn't need bailout money. They don't hold to their word. I signed up for $50 test drive offer and never recieved the e-mail telling me what to do to recieved the $50.How many other people signed up for yjis and didn't get their money???
